- Bedrock will release the Belgian artist's next album in February.
DJ and producer Marco Bailey will release his next album, Dragon Man, in February on John Digweed's Bedrock Records imprint.
Bailey has been a prolific artist since the early '90s. He started out doing trance 12-inches for labels like Dance Opera and his own Session Recordings, and over the years he grew a taste for more big room house sounds, as reflected in his productions as well as his DJ sets. 2010 marked his debut on Bedrock, a label whose epic style suits Bailey to a T. "Marco is one of those rare breed of producers whose sound crosses over from techno to house and everything in between," Digweed says of his recent signee. "I jumped at the chance to release an album from Marco on Bedrock because I wanted to showcase not only these exclusive club tracks, but also his more experimental sounds that features on Dragon Man."
The new long player packs in two CDs: one mixed, the other unmixed. Both feature 10 previously unreleased tracks from Bailey, and the second mixed disc also draws two tracks ("Jungle Laps" and "Watergate") that were released on 12-inches earlier this year via Bedrock.
