  • Long-running London club night Superfreq will visit Chicago later this month. Under the guidance of Mr C, founder of Plink Plonk Records, former frontman of The Shamen, and co-owner of London club The End, Superfreq started in 2002 and has since become one of the city's key spots for underground house and techno. Following The End's closure in 2009, Mr C moved offshore, settling on the west coast and establishing regular Superfreq and Super Disco Freq night in LA. He still makes the trip back to London each month for Superfreq nights at Paramount, as well as for branded parties in Southampton and France. For the upcoming party in Chicago, promoters alias. and Volatl will set up shop in an as-yet unnamed location. Mr C will headline the event, while local luminary Mazi, aka Audio Soul Project, Phillip Stone and Aryun Dismuke round off the bill. Entry to Superfreq with Mr C. and Friends requires pre-sale tickets. Luckily, those can be had right here on RA.
