  • Sydney afterhours party Church of Techno will be hosting their first New Year's Day event, with New York-based jock Chris Fortier to headline. Until the afternoon party went into hibernation a few weeks ago, Church Of Techno had been operating out of York St's Forbes Hotel on a weekly basis. Primarily playing host to local DJs, Church of Techno garnered a cult following in just a few months, becoming one of Sydney's most popular Sunday afternoon destinations for clubbers looking to fit a few extra hours of music into their weekends. January 1st will host the party's return when it heads to Surry Hills club Tone for a 17-hour marathon. They've booked a hefty local cast that includes Dopamine, Dave Stuart and Kerry Wallace, along with half-a-dozen other DJs. It'll be kicking off at 10 AM on New Year's Day, and going right through to 3 AM the following morning. You can grab advanced entry to the party here at RA Tickets.
