Ultra Music Festival have announced the initial lineup for their 2011 event, with artists like Tiesto, Deadmau5 and David Guetta topping the bill.

Over the past 13 years, UMF has become one of the world's biggest electronic music festivals, and certainly the biggest in North America. By consistently booking huge names in house, indie and electro (among other styles), the stadium-size event packs in as many as 100,000 party people each year. The upcoming edition marks a number turning point in at least two ways: it will be the first time UMF takes place across three days instead of two, and the first year it occurs separately from the Miami Winter Music Conference, which will take place two weeks earlier. But despite these new developments, the first batch of names presents a familiar blend of massive names from a variety of electronic genres.

Aside from the aforementioned headliners, the initial bill includes Cut Copy, Crystal Castles, Royksopp and Chromeo. Mr. Oizo and Boys Noize join the electro-house contingent, as does Deadmau5 protege Skrillex. More indie-flavored sounds will come from !!!, Simian Mobile Disco, CSS and Klaxons, while Joris Voorn and Claude VonStroke bring the underground tech house vibe. Gui Boratto makes a return UMF appearance, and Carl Cox will headline his own custom-built arena for the seventh year in a row. The Chemical Brothers, Pendulum, Sander Kleinenberg, Trentemoller and Laurent Garnier will all play live.

Thu, 17 Feb 2011They are sending out emails saying 98% of GA tickets are sold already for it and all VIP tickets are sold out, so some said there might not be single days tickets if they sell out way out in advance.....

most are biting the bullet and buying all 3 days and then will sell the other day tickets they dont use.
