  • LA collective Incognito will welcome Mobilee's Miss Jools into the fold this Friday for their regular party at King King Club. The Berlin-based Londoner, real name Julia Porter, was previously associated with Mobilee act Sleeper Thief, a collaborative outfit with Audiofly. She solidified her association with the label after her move to Berlin in 2008, when she began releasing solo productions which honed in on her late-night minimal sound, and she featured heavily in the imprint's 5 year Anniversary Tour of 2010. A week after Miss Jools graces the decks, fellow UK-to-Berlin expat Ewan Pearson will appear at an as yet undisclosed location for Incognito. Pearson's well-rounded reputation extends beyond his own DJ sets and productions, to his work behind the controls for a range of pop and rock acts such as Tracey Thorn and The Rapture. His forthcoming set will likely reflect the techno-with-pop-sensibilities sound he demonstrated with his recent Kompakt compilation, We Are Proud Of Our Choices. Back at King King Club the following week, New York City's Abe Duque will drop in for his own Incognito appearance. A veteran of legendary NYC club Limelight, Duque's lengthy discography has traversed through analogue acid house and signature track "What Happened", to more recent driving techno cuts for Process Recordings and his his own imprint, Abe Duque Recordings. Pre-sale tickets for all three events are available here on RA Tickets.
