mnml ssgs host Convextion and DJ Sprinkles

- The blog gets back into the promotions game this month with a party at Shibuya venue Module.
- Convextion and DJ Sprinkles will be the guests as mnml ssgs stage their latest event on March 20th. Much like the artists covered on mnml ssgs itself, the music on the night promises house and techno with a an experimental edge. First up is Gerard Hanson, who is perhaps best known through his techno-leaning Convextion moniker, the name under which he performs live. Hanson also produces electro-tinged fare as E.R.P. and has released a string of 12-inches through the excellent Semantica Records these past two years. He'll be joined on the night by Terre Thaemlitz, AKA DJ Sprinkles. Thaemlitz has been active on the scene since the early '90s, although that's not to say he's actually been aligned with any one type of music. When it comes to his DJ sets, though, a good dose of deep house can usually be expected. In Module's second room, meanwhile, Chris and Dave from mnml ssgs will be pushing more horizontal sounds alongside C_Olvrin, jefery and Jelomu.
