- The original score will be available on iTunes this week.
The Chemical Brothers have composed the soundtrack to an upcoming action film called Hanna.
The movie stars Cate Blanchett and Saoirse Ronan, and comes out in theaters next month (you can check out the trailer here). It's the latest in a string of films with soundtracks by big name electronic artists, after Daft Punk's score for Tron: Legacy and Trent Reznor's Oscar award-winning soundtrack for The Social Network. Some smaller acts have been getting in on the action too: Romain Gavras' next film, Notre Jour Viendra, features music by Ed Banger artist SebAstian.
Hanna is The Chemical Brothers first foray into cinema. It features 20 new productions from the UK duo, and will be available this week exclusively through iTunes. Head over to the album's soundcloud page to hear one of the tracks, "Container Park."
