  • DJ and producer Simon Baker will release his debut album in March, entitled Traces. Baker has been a mainstay of underground club music for most of the last decade. His 12-inches have seen release on labels like Playhouse, Leftroom and Murmur, but over the past few years his most consistent home has been 2020 Vision, the UK tech house establishment run by Ralph Lawson. According to a press release, Traces shows Baker striking a fine balance in his sound; though more delicate than his club-tailored 12-inches, the album steers clear of down-tempo, left-field or vocal heavy indulgences, sticking instead to the driving style of 4/4 beats Baker is known for. The record will be available digitally as well as on vinyl and CD. Tracklist 01. No Pressure 02. L Train 03. Blue Lights 04. Grey Area 05. Let Me In 06. Someone Like.. 07. Dead Air 08. Traces 09. Think! 10. Reversal 11. Olek 2020 Vision will release Traces in March 2011.
