Greg Wilson, Soul Clap, Larry Heard and many others will join the Croatian seaside party this summer.
The Garden Festival has begun announcing details for its 2011 edition, with a sunny bill of house and disco DJs already booked for the occasion.
Now in its sixth year running, the annual seaside event has become a favourite among summer revelers, thanks in part to its setting along the Adriatic coast at Croatia's Gardens Petrcane (the same venue as Stop Making Sense and Electric Elephant). This year's bill so far include return appearances from Greg Wilson, Tensnake, Mark E and Crazy P, plus newcomers like Soul Clap and Art Department. Chicago house legend Larry Heard has also been booked, and Eric Duncan of Rub N' Tug will make a solo appearance. Per usual, some of the London party scene's usual suspects will fly in for sets as well, including Dolan Bergin of Electric Minds, Geddes of Mulletover and the Futureboogie crew. More DJs and live acts will announced in the weeks ahead.
Rather than the nine-day bender of last year and the year before, Garden Festival 2011 will take place over one "extended weekend" (i.e. seven days). Who plays where has yet to be revealed, but the festivities will include 14 Agonaughty boat parties, 7 afterparties at Barbarella Discotheque and "a whole heap more."
