London DJ and producer Toby Tobias has compiled Underground Disco , an upcoming collection from Ministry Of Sound .The Feeling , and had tracks appear on nu-disco establishments like Tirk, Nang and Bearfunk. For a genre so often rooted in nostalgia, Underground Disco is remarkably locked in the present: the majority of Tobias's picks were released in the past two years. Popular disco staples like Azari & III and Hercules & Love Affair make the cut, but the tracklist also features lesser-known acts like Portugese duo Gala Drop and Golf Channel Records mainstay DJ Nature. A few house and indie tunes are thrown in as well, like Nicolas Jaar's "Time for Us" and Caribou's "Odessa." The release will be Tobias's debut on Ministry of Sound.
