Paul Kalkbrenner comes to Australia

- The Berlin-based artist will play live in Melbourne and Sydney.
- German producer Paul Kalkbrenner will be playing two Australian dates in March. Since his production debut over a decade ago, Kalkbrener has become one of the most well-known names in German electronic music. An early partnership with Ellen Allien's BPitch Control spawned almost a dozen singles and a few long players, several of which went on to become some of the label's most successful releases. His role as the leading man in 2008's Berlin Calling, a feature film about a touring artist loosely based on Kalkbrenner, radically expanded the producer's popularity. Kalkbrenner will be arriving in Australia in mid March for sets in Melbourne and Sydney. Melbourne residents will be able to catch the Berlin native in action at The Likes of You's Brown Alley takeover on March 18th, while Chinese Laundry will be hosting the DJ at the in Sydney the following night.
