We Love Space brings Detroit to Miami

- Derrick May, Kevin Saunderson, Octave One and more will play the Ibizan party's poolside event at the Shelborne.
- Derrick May and Kevin Saunderson will top a bill of Detroit artists at The Shelborne on the final day of WMC. The party will be presented by We Love..., the crew behind the legendary Sunday parties at Ibiza mega club Space. As two members of the Belleville Three, both May and Saunderson are considered some of the most influential figures in Detroit techno, with production catalogs that stretch back more than twenty years (notably including May's Transmat record label, and Saunderson's Inner City group). A handful of other Detroit artists will appear as well: Stacey Pullen, a protege of May and Saunderson; Octave One (performing live), whose early tracks featured on Transmat; and Monty Luke, who has produced for Mothership as well as Carl Craig's Planet E imprint. Along with Shine's Cadenza event later that night, the party will mark the end to a week of WMC parties at The Sheborne.
