The massive event in Barcelona also features James Blake, Lindstrom, Einstürzende Neubauten, Simian Mobile Disco and many more.
Details have been announced for the 2011 San Miguel Primavera Sound Festival, taking place in Barcelona from May 25th to May 29th.
The characteristically staggering lineup features artists of all stripes; headliners include PJ Harvey, Interpol, DJ Shadow, and John Lydon's post-Sex Pistols post-punk group, Public Image Limited. On the electronic side of the spectrum, you've got Matthew Dear, Lindstrom, John Talabot and Simian Mobile Disco, plus bass artists James Blake, Darkstar and Kode9 with Spaceape, who will be playing a Burial set (as they did at last year's Club to Club in Italy). A host of experimental acts are featured as well, such as Battles, Emeralds, Oneohtrix Point Never and proto-industrial outfit Einsturzende Neubauten. The action is split between Barcelona's Poble Espanol and Parc Del Forum. Past events have drawn as many as 100,000 revelers.
