Bremen and Hamburg-based label Confused Recordings will mark their 15th anniversary this week the release of a new digital compilation. 15 Years Confused Recordings surveys the catalog of one of Germany's longest running techno labels. Established in 1995 by Jan Langer and Oliver Huntemann , Confused has put out dozens of records from artists like Motion Unit and Thomas Schumacher's Elektrochemie LK, and more recently Martin Eyerer and Marco Bailey. The extensive 30-track compilation pays homage to the label's roots, beginning with Motion Unit's "Back 2 d'basics", the first record released by the label. Producers like Steve Bug, Gui Boratto, and Koen Groeneveld provide a few remixes, and Hamburg-based DJ Hatzler contributes a special birthday mix to go with the package.
