Nicolas Jaar will play live with a full band at fabric on Wednesday, March 30th.
In case you hadn't heard, Jaar's been making serious waves in the past couple years with his dynamic live performance, which has landed him in clubs of all sizes around the world, not to mention in the #2 spot in our own yearly poll. But thus far his act has been a one-man-show; just Jaar, his laptop, some hardware and old-fashioned mic. His midweek gig at fabric next month will feature an updated version of the performance, now complete with a full live band. Further details on Jaar's ensemble are titillatingly scarce.
The event comes a month after the release of Jaar's debut album, Space Is Only Noise. It's presented by London Electronic, the same promoter that puts on the A Night With... series.
