Shonky spends a week in North America

- The Freak n’ Chic DJ will play parties in Miami, Chicago, Washington DC and Montreal starting next week.
- French tech-house producer Shonky will jump across the pond next week for a mini-tour of North America. Shonky has been active since 2005 when he began producing for Freak n’ Chic, the label which would later release his debut album and a handful of EPs. His deep, spacey style of house and techno has gained him appearances on Contexterrior, Crosstown Rebels, and most recently another French label, Real Tone Records. His trek across North America begins next Thursday in Miami, followed by an appearance the next night at Chicago's Smart Bar with local DJ and Spectral Sound artist Kate Simko. Saturday sees a set at Sweet Spot in Washington DC alongside fellow Frenchman Le loup, and the tour concludes with a Tuesday night gig in Montreal at Salon Daomé.
