Actress, Mount Kimbie, Oneohtrix Point Never and Pearson Sound are also in the London events' initial lineup.
Field Day Festival have unveiled the first round of names for this year's event, scheduled for August 6th at Victoria Park in London.
As in previous years, the lineup is a somewhat artsy blend of rock, electronic and experimental music. Ghostly International poster boy Matthew Dear will make an appearance, along with indie favorites like Ariel Pink, The Horrors, avant-rock outfit Tortoise and Super Furry Animals member Gruff Rhys. A solid contingent of UK bass acts have been confirmed as well, including Actress, Roska, Mount Kimbie, and Pearson Sound (AKA Ramadanman). As for more left-field selections, you've got Oneohtrix Point Never, Konono No.1 and classic experimental jazz outfit Sun Ra Arkestra. Many more acts have yet to be announced.
