  • Berghain resident Ben Klock will play two dates in the US this weekend, joined by Minneapolis’ DVS1. Klock is widely known for his pummeling style of house and techno, both as a producer and as a DJ. His early productions helped develop Berlin's Ostgut Ton imprint (and its home club, Berghain/Panorama Bar) into one of the premier hubs of modern club music. He continues to produce for Ostgut Ton, where he released his Compression Session EP last year, while also operating his own Klockworks imprint, which just saw its 7th release this month. Joining him for his two stateside stops is DVS1, an artist Klock took under his wing after hearing him play in his home city of Minneapolis. Following that fateful gig, the American DJ put out his first 12-inch through Klockworks and made his Berghain debut at Klock's CD release party last summer. Klock and DVS1 will play first at Public Works in San Francisco on Friday, February 25, with Christina Chatfield, Lovefingers, and Le Loup. Then they'll head to New York City for a Klockworks showcase at Good Units, where they'll have the decks to themselves all night. Tickets to Klockworks Label Night at Good Units are available right here on RA.
