Katy B billed for Parklife Weekender

- The Manchester festival will host dozens of DJs and live acts this summer, from Kode9 to Moodymann to Simian Mobile Disco.
- Parklife Weekender have announced their initial lineup for 2011, with over 100 acts billed on seven stages at Platt Field. The Manchester festival is presented in part by the people behind the Warehouse Project, and just had its first edition last summer. This year the event has expanded into a two-day affair, with seven different arenas running simultaneously on each day. Big name acts like Katy B, Kelis and Mark Ronson will play the main stage, along with dubstep forerunners Skream and Benga, while a diverse raft of electronic acts fill out the rest of the bill: Boys Noize, Adam Beyer, Seth Troxler, Moodymann, Kode9, Matthew Dear, Hercules & Love Affair and many more will play on stages curated by Crosstown Rebels, Chibuku, Hospitality, Horse Meat Disco and Simian Mobile Disco linking up with Resident Advisor, among others. More names have yet to be announced, including Saturday's main stage headliner. The festival takes place on June 11th and 12th.
