- The UK crossover act handpicks his favorite up-and-comers on a new compilation.
Altered Natives has put together a collection of tracks by up-and-coming producers called The Guild of Synchronists.
As RA contributor Sach O put it in his review of the London artist's New Year's Day set in Montreal, Danny Natives is "known for bringing together disparate elements of rave's past," with tracks and DJ sets that meld garage, dubstep, house and techno. The Guild of Snychronists introduces a group of new artists that follow in this tradition, most of whom are hitherto unknown.
"This comp is an introduction to some of the names that I hope to familiarize you all with over the next few years with Eye4Eye," Natives says. "I had an affinity to each of the tracks here, as I felt each track individually embodied everything I have tried to achieve and squash together through the medium of my own production."
The Guild of Synchronists features 12 previously unreleased songs, including two from Natives himself. The collection will be available on CD through Eye4Eye.
