Pearson Sound plots North American tour

- David Kennedy will spend most of next month playing gigs in the US and Canada.
- UK bass artist David Kennedy, better known as Ramadanman or Pearson Sound, will embark on a stateside tour next month with Zed Bias, aka Maddslinky. Kennedy has been producing music for about five years, forging a style that fuses dubstep, garage, funky and house. He's appeared on a variety of labels, including Apple Pips and Aus Music, while also running Hessle Audio alongside Pangaea and Ben UFO. 2010 was a prolific year for Kennedy, with a release schedule that averaged almost a record per month. Meanwhile, he began shifting away from the Ramadanman guise toward Pearson Sound. Most recently he's mixed FabricLive 56 as Pearson Sound/Ramadanman, and 2011 will likely see a complete shift to the Pearson Sound name. Joining Kennedy for the entire trip will be underground dubstep DJ (and another split personality) Zed Bias, aka Maddslinky. More dates are to be announced, but for now, things kick off in Atlanta on Wednesday, April 13. There are east coast stops in Boston, New York and Miami, but most of the tour will be in the west, with four California appearances including a set at the Coachella festival, along with a pair of shows in Texas.
