  • Traxx’s Chicago-based label Nation is throwing a party at Shea Stadium this Friday as part of the Un-Official Expo Installation. Pitted as an alternative to the Unsound festival, the line-ups are tailored to showcase some of Nation's core artists. With minimal promotion and only a handful of events, The Un-Official Expo Installation kicked off last Friday at Lower East Side venue National Underground. The night featured a lineup of US talent such as Patrick Russell, Reade Truth, Alex from Queens, and Traxx himself. The festival continues this Friday, April 8th at Shea Stadium, a cheekily named Brooklyn loft. The party, titled "MUTAL DREAMING, When Two Or More People Share the Same Dream," features three live sets from Slava, S.S.P.S. and Dariius, along with two DJ sets from Steve Summers and Traxx. Adding to the dreamy theme, the room will be lit entirely with candles and will feature psychedelic visuals from promoter Aurora Halal. The party kicks off early at 9:30 and runs late, with an eight dollar cover at the door.
