  • Brandt Brauer Frick have announced a four-date May tour taking in London, Berlin, Bruges and Amsterdam, followed by a series of festival appearances. The German collective a style that's as experimental as it is club-friendly. Taking cues from avant-garde composers like John Cage and Helmut Lanchemann, their all-live performance involves using every surface of each instrument as a potential noise source. Thanks to their 12-inches on Tartalet Records and their debut album on !K7, You Make Me Real, the trio have earned support from countless house and techno DJs, not to mention rapper Kanye West, who boosted their profile two years ago by posting the video for "Bop" on his blog. Though the core group consists of just Daniel Brandt, Jan Brauer and Paul Frick, the trio will be on tour as a full 10 piece ensemble. In addition to the aforementioned club dates, the tour includes sets at Glastonbury, Sonar, Melt and Bestival among others.
