The European producer will touch down in both cities this weekend.
German techno producer Oliver Koletzki will be playing sets in Melbourne and Sydney this weekend.
Koletzki has spent the bulk of his career releasing records on his own imprint, Stil Vor Talent. However, it was the 2005 release of Der Mückenschwarm, a single-sided 12-inch on Cocoon Recordings that thrust the Berlin-based producer into the spotlight. The single went on to become one of the highest selling records ever released on Cocoon, and hugely bolstered Koletzki's reputation around the world. These days, the producer's DJ sets are rarely comprised of the same level of intensity exhibited on "Der Mückenschwarm," and, instead, are often driven by a more subtle and groove-driven approach.
Koletzki will be getting the weekend underway in Melbourne with a headline slot at Roxanne Parlour on Friday, spinning for Chameleon Recordings' first April event. From there, he'll head north to Sydney, where the team behind the Kontrast club night will be celebrating one year of operation at the Civic Underground.
Tickets to the Sydney event are available through RA Tickets.
