The Singapore super club celebrates 20 years in the business with a triple-disc mix.

Defected Records will release the Zouk Classics mix compilation today, celebrating 20 years of operation for the club.

Zouk has long been one of Singapore's biggest spots for electronic music. Since it opened in 1991, the enormous and lavishly designed club has hosted everyone from Danny Tenaglia to Ricardo Villalobos to Peaches. The upcoming the three-disc package consists almost entirely of feel-good house and techno. Disc one, for example, covers the years 1991 to 2000, with tracks from Ultra Naté, Little Louie Vega and more. The second mix advances a decade, covering everything up to present day with help from names like Tensnake, Octave One and Gel Abril. While these first two CDs come from Jeremy Boon and DJB, the third is curated by veteran selector and Defected A&R man Simon Dunmore, highlighting Zouk's relationship with the London-based label.
