- Syndicate, the Singapore A/V Collective, hits up LA this Friday along with Samiyam and Mono/Poly.
The Flying Lotus-spawned Brainfeeder Sessions returns after a short hiatus for a night celebrating their connection with Singapore.
The tiny country's A/V Collective, Syndicate, will be in town alongside Brainfeeder stalwarts Samiyam, Mono/Poly, Austin Peralta and Strangeloop with Singaporean reps Brandon Tay, Cherry Chan and Kiat also in attendance. Tay will be performing in collaboration with Strangeloop to further cement the cross-cultural exchange on the evening. If that wasn't enough for you, the night will feature a special preview of Strangeloop's upcoming A/V album for Brainfeeder entitled Fields, as well as shorts from the third edition of the Future Cinema Series, a program of experimental film from around the world that is curated by David Wexler, the Creative Director of Los Angeles' Institute for Cinema Studies.
