- Peter Hook guests on the English duo's next album.
autoKratz will release a new album called Self Help For Beginners this June.
The English duo are known for playing a snotty, guitar-enhanced style of electro, i.e. nu rave. Until 2009 they were mainstays of Kitsuné Music, the Parisian label that helped popularize groups like Klaxons and Simian Mobile Disco. This was the platform for both of their previous full-lengths–Animal and the mini-album Down and Out in Paris and London–but Self Help for Beginners will come out on their new label, Bad Life. In addition to the core duo the record features appearances from Andrew Innes of Primal Scream and Peter Hook, formerly of Joy Division and New Order. The album will be available digitally and on CD.
