- Label founder Chloe Harris collaborates with Staple on the upcoming LP.
Druzy, a collaborative project by American artists Chloe Harris and Staple, will release their first album this month through Harris's Further Records.
Further Records is probably best known for its series of limited edition cassettes, which have hosted techno, deep house and experimental artists like Donato Dozzy, Hieroglyphic Being and former Kluster member Conrad Schnitzler. But before this series got going, the label put out digital EPs by Harris and other artists from Seattle and the rest of the west coast. The Unheard fits into this portion of the label's catalog: instead of vinyl or cassette, the album will be released digitally and on CD. It's the first body of recorded material by Druzy, an ambient-leaning techno project that Harris and Staple created years ago. It's also Harris' first full-length to date.
