Paul Oakenfold has unveiled details for his next mix CD, entitled Never Mind the Bollocks... Here's Paul Oakenfold.

Sun, 26 Jun 2011Oakenfold is a Pioneer and has done more for Dance music than most. Like I stated before, Oakenfold was the reason I started DJ'ing and got into the scene altogether. He is a legend in my eyes and was the first to sell a million copies of a dance album. I like the fact that he tries new things (certianly not all critically succesful) which has divided his fan base with soundtracks, pop flavored albums, etc. It's boring to just only play one style and/or to jump on the lastest bandwagon or... More

Mon, 20 Jun 2011LOL I was either prepared for a hate torrent or to just be ignored TBH!...anyway genuinely appreciate simply a response and it was pretty amiablle LOL thanks. - however it's the haters that are the only reason I'm here.......cos Oakenfold is playing better now than I have ever seen. And I include 99 in that! - So it really was a dare to the haters...go on do it. Listen to that mix above. I apprecaite the music may not be to all's taste! - but that is Oakenfold... More

Mon, 20 Jun 2011the you tube vid was great, but im not as much an oakie hater as some. while his old mixes lacked the tech skillz his track list an tracks have been good for the most part. we all know he's not the best mixer but he still has played a major role in the growth of edm, tranceport is the album that got me hooked back in '98.
