- Cosmin TRG, Falty DL and Phon.o feature on Modeselektor's second 'white label' compilation.
A 50 Weapons label compilation entitled 50 Weapons of Choice #10-19 is due out on July 15th.
Pre-dating their Monkeytown Records imprint, Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary—better known as Berlin duo Modeselektor—set up 50 Weapons in 2006 as an anonymous outlet for a series of white label releases. The first compilation (#2-9) presented a series of Modeselektor and Moderat remixes by the likes of Headhunter, Shackleton and T++.
The follow-up compilation features just one Modeselektor track, a remix of their own "Art & Cash" from Night Slugs man Bok Bok, with the rest coming from a mixture of new and established names. Recent signings Cosmin TRG and German duo Anstam, who both feature here, are due to release debut albums through 50 Weapons later this year.
