The underground Berlin club outfit unveil a summer program featuring Mika Vainio and Jimmy Edgar.
Killekill will follow their recent third birthday celebrations with two series' of events over the coming weeks.
The Summer Camp parties will see a return to the site of Killekill's now-defunct weekly residency, Berghain Kantine, for six weeks. The opening night will feature frequent guest DJ Daniel Meteo, Acid Maria and Killekill resident DJ Flush, with the following week hosting a Freund der Familie label night, drawing in the eponymous duo behind the imprint and Taron Trekka. The August camp sessions will be split between a showcase by Swedish electro imprint Stilleben, who plan to mark their white label revival with sets from Luke Eargoggle and Kan3da, and a closing night bash with Radioactive Man and Electric Indigo.
The second edition of Krake Festival will take place in the midst of the Summer Camp gatherings in August. The week-long "festival for challenging electronic music and visual transduction", developed in collaboration with Holger Hilgers, will kick off with Oval's live audio/visual performance at arts space Volksbühne, followed by a night for drone fetishists, featuring artists from Italy's dromoscope label. Live sets by Mika Vainio and Legowelt are on the cards at Suicide Circus, as is what will surely be a closing weekend tear-up with Jimmy Edgar and Redshape at the helm.
