The French DJ will go back-to-back with fellow Parisian Dyed Soundorom in August.
Dan Ghenacia and Dyed Soundorom will play in a new East London space on Saturday 6th August.
As RA's Will Lynch recently found out, Ghenacia has never really embodied the sound of the French capital, rising instead to become one of its most revered electronic figures through providing something alternative. As a longtime fixture of the city's club scene (especially its afterhours parties), the Parisian DJ was recently invited to mix the first edition of Ministry of Sound's latest mix series, built around the concept of heralding key points in the electronic heritage of different metropolises from around the world. To launch the record, which came out last month, Ghenacia will play with one of his long time associates and fellow Circo Loco residents, Dyed Soundorom. The event is billed as the first in a series of Sound of the City showcases, which will take place in various venues around London.
The party will happen at a previously unused space somewhere in East London. Ghenacia and Soundorom will play an extended back-to-back session in what will be the pair's only UK outing this summer.
