  • Detroit's TV Lounge will host Rick Wilhite and a collection of other local house and techno icons this Wednesday for a free early-evening party. Wilhite has been producing music for some two decades, and may be most well known for his collaborations with Theo Parrish and Moodymann in the '90s. He's still an analog purist, as seen in his debut album Analog Aquarium, released earlier this year on Chicago's Still Music imprint. He'll be joined at TV Lounge by a collection of other veteran Detroit artists, including Mike Huckaby, Scott Grooves and Marcellus Pittman. Young gun Kyle Hall and Joshua Guerin round out the announced lineup, with the flyer promising "special guests." The outdoor party starts at 6:00 PM, and early arrivals will be treated to free wings and fries.
