The American house favourite is joined at East Village tonight by Terry Francis and Tom Middleton.
Derrick Carter heads the bill for an evening in memory of London DJ and producer Kenny Hawkes at East Village tonight.
The event entitled "A night in Space – in loving memory of Kenny Hawkes" will endeavour to raise as much money as possible for his family, especially his teenage daughter, with an evening curated by friends in homage to the late Hawkes' classic house night Space.
The party, formed by both Hawkes and Luke Solomon, originally started at Bar Rumba in central London in 1995, hosting names such as DJ Sneak, DJ Harvey and Mark Farina over its seven year run. The night will celebrate the spirit of Space and Hawkes himself. Over twenty DJs will share the decks on the night, including Dave Angel, Darren Emerson, Rob Mello and Justin Robertson as well as Terry Francis, Tom Middleton and Carter. The tribute night, across the Shoreditch venue's two floors, kicks off at 18:30 and runs until 03:30.
