Martyn, Erol Alkan and others will play the two day festival happening later this month.
Underhill Festival sets up camp between Bristol and Bournemouth on the 29th and 30th of July.
Curated by some of the top promoters each city has to offer, the Underhill lineup blends Bristolian "cross-pollination" with flavours from Bournemouth's cultural underbelly—with a hefty dose of "gypsy jazz" via its returning Balkan resident. Bristol's policy-free clubnight Crazylegs has programmed a cross-section of bass music with the likes of Fatima and FunkinEven from the Eglo fold—the London-based imprint managed by Alexander Nut and Floating Points, alongside bass-soaked house offerings from funky Hyperdub up-and-comer Ossie and Julio Bashmore. Bristol-based Outboxx and EFA—Crazylegs member and man behind the forward-thinking Pollen label—adds further to the melting pot, topped by respected Dutch producer Martyn, who will be showcasing his new live show.
Blowpop will be supplying electro-spiked house from the likes of Erol Alkan, Round Table Knights, Krafty Kuts, Zombie Disco Squad and Oliver $. A raft of other acts complete the bill as selected by the remaining six collectives involved that includes the Scottish Balkanarama, who will be bringing their infectious blend of klezmer, Balkan, gypsy punk and electronic beats to Ridgewood Park once more, along with a crew of dancers, VJs and medley of live musicians.
