- The Panorama Bar DJ will make her San Francisco debut next month.
- A trio of California promoters—No Way Back, As You Like It and Donuts Party—will join forces to bring Steffi and a grip of national talent to Public Works in San Francisco on Friday August 5th. Until recently Steffi was mostly known for diverse DJ sets that have earned her a residency at Panorama Bar in Berlin, and for the Klakson imprint she co-founded a decade ago (as well as its sub-label Dolly, born last year). Over the past few years the Dutch-born artist has begun to dabble in production, and earlier this year she released her debut full-length album, Yours and Mine on Ostgut Ton. This will be the first time she brings her deep house style to San Francisco and she'll be sharing the bill with Detroit icon Mike Huckaby. New York's Lovefingers and Washington DC duo Beautiful Swimmers will add a healthy dose of disco to the party, while the sound will come courtesy of Public Works' new Funktion One system.
