Paul St. Hilaire AKA Tikiman will join the dub techno veteran in London on August 6th.
Warms wraps up Plastic People on a dubby tip next weekend with Mark Ernestus and Tikiman, just before the venue closes temporarily for refurbishment.
Perhaps better know for his work with Moritz Von Oswald as Basic Channel, Ernestus now makes his mark on the music community through his revered Hard Wax shop and distribution company, which he founded in Berlin over 20 years ago. Despite its short existence, Basic Channel played a significant role in the development of techno music, with their sound being a source of inspiration for countless DJs and producers. Later projects like Burial Mix and Rhythm & Sound saw the pair delve deeper into reggae and employing a range of vocalists, particularly Paul St. Hilaire AKA Tikiman, who will be joining Ernestus at the party next weekend. A secret guest will has also been billed for the event.
