- Turbo Recordings will release the Finnish duo's first LP in October.
Renaissance Man have completed their first artist album, The Renaissance Man Project.
Made up of two former architects from Finland, Renaissance Man have been in action for just over two years. They got their start in 2009 with the Spraycan EP on Dubsided, and since then have appeared on Kitsune, Sound Pellegrino and Made to Play among others. Their trademark sound is playful, bass-heavy and often electro-tinged, as heard on tracks like last year's "Babbadabba." The Renaissance Man Project will be the duo's first release on Turbo Recordings, the Canadian label run by Tiga that's previously hosted artists like Chromea and azariiii" data-artist-news-link="true">Azari & III. All of the songs on the album are previously unreleased.
