  • Four Tet and Ben UFO will play Acetate at Wire on Wednesday, September 28th. Acetate is a Leeds party series hosted by Leeds native David Kennedy, better known as Pearson Sound or Ramadanman. The next edition comes just after the announcement that Four Tet has mixed Fabriclive 59, due for release in September. It will offer a rare chance to see the critically acclaimed artist in such a small venue (Wire's capacity maxes out at 300). Kennedy will also present his fellow Hessle Audio founder Ben UFO. The imaginative and technically skilled DJ has become an underground favourite for his genre-bending sets, which easily weave between house, garage, techno and dubstep, whether in the club or on Hessle's radio show on Rinse.FM. In keeping with Acetate's purist approach, the DJs will play all-vinyl sets on a '70s-era Bozak rotary mixer. Tickets for the night are available here on RA.
