Luke Slater plays Blkmarket Membership

- Kollektiv Turmstrasse will join the UK techno jock in New York next month.
- Luke Slater, AKA Planetary Assault Systems, will take over the decks at the next BlkMarket Membership party in New York on Friday, September 16th. A UK native, Slater has been a techno fixture for some two decades, with raw and stripped-down productions on labels like Peacefrog, NovaMute and Ostgut Ton. He's also the brains behind Mote-Evolver, the five-year old label that has been home to much of Slater's own material as well as releases from like-minded artists such as Cari Lekebusch and Lucy. Earlier this summer, the 25th record dropped on Mote-Evolver, featuring remixes of Marcel Fengler's hard-hitting 2010 track "Thwack". For next month's night at Blkmarket, Slater will be joined by Minus artist Barem, and German duo Kollektiv Turmstrasse, who will play live.
