Canadian R&B group The Weeknd's new mixtape, Thursday, is available for download.
Barely anyone had heard of The Weeknd at the start of 2011—fast-forward to August and we're presented with their second "mixtape" Thursday, the follow-up to
House of Balloons, which in some circles has been touted as album of the year material. The group comprised of producers Doc McKinney and Illangelo and singer Abel Tesfaye are again offering Thursday's nine tracks as free download via their website. Only "The Birds (Part 1)", which appeared as a video earlier this year, was previously available.
