Tone set to move

- The Sydney club will soon vacate its Surry Hills premises.
- Sydney's Tone, a venue located in Surry Hills, will move to a new location in less than one month. According to a statement issued last week, the move is the result of a long running dispute between the building's landlord and Tone's operator, Ben Peterson. Details around the dispute remain hazy, but it is believed that venue will become a restaurant in the coming months. The Tone name, however, will live on in an as yet undetermined space. Tone's remaining 2011 calendar was largely booked before the vacate notice was issued, meaning that dozens of dates will now need to be rescheduled. It's not clear how long it will be until Tone resurfaces. There are, however, almost 20 shows set to take place over the coming month, which include headline slots from Samiyam and Guti.
