  • Levon Vincent will headline the year's final edition of Mister Sunday next weekend at Gowanus Grove in Brooklyn. Though he's currently based in Berlin, Vincent cut his teeth in New York's house scene. Through local clubs and the Halcyon record shop, he became friends with the likes of Jus-Ed and DJ Qu, released a few records on Underground Quality and launched the short-lived Deconstruct Music imprint with Anthony Parasole. His dusty, techno-flavored house productions and his aggressive style behind the decks have made him a favorite in underground club scenes around the world. This "Indian Summer Bonus Party" will close out a season of events at Gowanus Grove, where residents Justin Carter and Eamon Harkin have hosted artists like Todd Terje, Space Dimension Controller and Four Tet for the daytime off-shoot of their other party, Mister Saturday Night. As usual, Carter and Harkin will lend support on the decks for the family-friendly event, and local vendors will be selling food, beer, sangria and the like. Tickets are available here on RA.
