The 3024 man will unveil his second album with close collaborator and visual artist Erosie live next month.
Martyn will launch his Ghost People LP at a secret Hoxton location on Thursday, September 15th.
The event will be, in Martyn's words, "a full live manifestation of the album" with the venue decked out in Erosie’s art to echo the LP's sleeve design, which features a photo of the ninth freeform mural from Erosie's Horror Vacui (fear of empty space) series, originally painted 18 meters high in Poland. The Dutch producer has described the album as "similar to how Erosie's artwork is—intense, an overload of thoughts, instead of an easily digestible image." The pair have collaborated since 2002; Erosie is effectively the in-house artist at Martyn's 3024 label, as well as the man behind the poster for RA X in Sao Paulo.
The event is in conjunction with Black Atlantic, and will also feature Hyperdub head Kode9, Exit Records founder D-Bridge and Citinite's Manny Z.
Tickets for Martyn's album launch are available here on RA.
