  • Leeds promoters Louche have revealed details of their upcoming parties. After a two-month hiatus, Louche will make their return to Leeds' Mint Club on Saturday 17th September and have invited Charlie Levine and Eli Goldstein, AKA Soul Clap, to provide the soundtrack. The Boston duo will be making their second 2011 appearance at the club after their joint DJ-Kicks session with Wolf + Lamb back in April. On this occasion they'll bro-down for an extended six-hour set, no doubt taking in everything from house to disco, pop through to hip-hop. Louche residents Brinsley Kazak, Josh T, Tom Frank and Matthew Roche will do the honours in the second room. Moving into October, and Saturday 8th will see Louche hook up with Mulletover for the first of two joint ventures. An unannounced Leeds warehouse will be the setting for Chicago's Tevo Howard to run through his classic house-indebted live set. Mulletover co-founder and resident Geddes will of course also be in attendance, alongside Louche's Brinsley Kazak and Flux's Aartekt. And Louche will return the favour at the end of the month, heading south to host the second room of Mulletover's Halloween party at an undisclosed east London location. Andrew Weatherall and Ivan Smagghe will do their thing under the Wrong Meeting banner, plus Louche residents Brinsley Kazak, Josh T and Tom Frank will again get behind the decks. Steve Bug, Tobi Neumann, Guy Gerber and Geddes will take control of the main space. In between these two dates Leeds residents can look forward to Louche's collaboration with Berlin's Ostgut Ton, with a Panorama Bar-focussed line-up that includes residents Prosumer, Nick Höppner and Tama Sumo. All shades of house music should be explored over the course of the night, while Josh T, Brinsley Kazak, Tom Frank and Matthew Roche will be providing support.
