Circus turns nine with Danny Howells

- Circus will celebrate its ninth anniversary next Saturday, September 24th, with a host of international names headed by the just-announced special guest Danny Howells. Currently based at at The Masque, a disused theatre on Seel Street, the monthly house night has become a UK institution, bringing the likes of Richie Hawtin, Ricardo Villalobos and Luciano to Liverpool across its nine-year tenure. The ring-master is Crosby-born Yousef, who started up Circus in 2002 at Cream and still curates each night, while also juggling his DJ and production work. For the party's ninth anniversary, Yousef has put together a Circus roll-call that features UK veteran Danny Howells, along with tech house heavyweight James Zabiela, Circo Loco resident Davide Squillace, CLR boss Chris Liebing and London favourite Maya Jane Coles. Yousef himself will, of course, also feature with fellow residents and Liverpool natives Lewis Boardman and Scott Lewis providing support.
