Voodoo Experience reveals lineup, afterparties

- Cassy, Fatboy Slim, Wolf + Lamb and many others will take over the New Orleans festival next month.
- Voodoo Experience 2011 will descend upon New Orleans over Halloween weekend, and this year the festival has recruited New York's Verboten crew to handle the official afterparties. Established in 1999 and based in New Orleans' sprawling City Park, Voodoo has the advantage of a host city that facilitates around-the-clock partying with 24-hour liquor licenses. As usual, the festival's lineup is heavy on rock bands like Soundgarden, Blink 182 and The Raconteurs, but also has its share of electronic acts. Fatboy Slim, A-Trak and Daedelus will all play sets at the festival, along with Steve Angello and King Britt. Many more house and techno artists will play daytime sets in City Park before taking over the decks at Deja Voodoo is Verboten, the weekend's series of afterparties. Cassy, Claude VonStroke, Maya Jane Coles will be on hand, as well as Danny Howells, Craig Richards and Lee Burridge. The weekend looks set to wind down with Wolf + Lamb, Soul Clap, No Regular Play and other artists from the W+L label crew taking over Sunday's afterparty.
