The Austrian live techno trio have another album coming out on Macro.
Elektro Guzzi have outlined details for their next artist album, Parquet.
Made up of Austrian artists Bernhard Hammer, Jakob Schneidewind and Bernhard Breuer, Elektro Guzzi pride themselves on taking live techno performance to the next level by literally performing everything live in real time on drums, bass and guitar. They debuted last spring with a self-titled album, and since then have performed everywhere from fabric and Berghain to Mutek festival in Montreal. Fittingly, they also release a live album earlier this year.
Parquet shows them staying true to form with nine cuts of dark, heady techno, all, of course, played live. Everything was recorded straight to analog tape with no edits or overdubs. Like all of their records so far, Parquet will see release on Stefan Goldmann and Finn Johannsen's label, Macro.
