Quentin Dupieux, better known as Mr. Oizo will release his next album in November, entitled Stade2 .Ed Banger Records and Because Music , two labels that also house Parisian artists like Justice, Uffie, SebAstian and the late DJ Mehdi. Much like those acts, his style is high energy and a bit cartoon-ish, touched with an oddball sense of humor that also comes across in Steak , a sci-fi film he wrote, directed and soundtracked in 2007. Stade2 is his fourth album, and as song titles like "Camelfuck," "Douche Beat" and "Oral Sax" make clear, it shows him at his most bonkers. Dupieux performed, recorded and mixed the entire thing himself at Edgecliff-Gym Studio in LA, aside from the digital flute on "Ska," which was performed by the artist Tetanos.Tracklist Ed Banger Records and Because Music will release Stade2 on November 11th, 2011 . 12 Comments
