Aphex Twin plays Future Music Festival 2012

- Aphex Twin will appear at next year's edition of the touring Future Music Festival, where he'll be sharing the bill with Sven Vath, The Rapture and Hercules & Love Affair. Future Music Festival stands as one of Australia's largest dance events, each year drawing in tens of thousands of punters with each leg of the five-stop tour. The focus is usually on big names, and 2012 will be is no different. IDM pioneer Aphex Twin will be touching down in Australia for the first time since 2004, where he'll be lining up alongside Frankfurt-based Cocoon boss Sven Vath and New York indie-disco acts The Rapture and Hercules & Love Affair. James Murphy and PPat Mahoney will be spinning records for their new Special Disco Version show, while Jamie Jones, Juan Maclean, Benoit & Sergio and Azari & III round out the house contingent. The tour's set to get underway in Brisbane on March 3rd, after which it will head around the country for showings in Perth, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide.
